CO2 compensation

To keep global warming at a sustainable level, the international community agreed on a target to limit the average increase in the Earth's temperature to 2°C above pre-industrial levels. To achieve this goal, we have a total budget of approximately 750 billion tons of CO₂ by 2050. This means that each person on earth has an annual budget of approximately 2.3 tons of CO₂.

Insight Cosmetics Group ships more than 100,000 packages every year, and we are aware that the transportation of products and people in particular is a major contributor to CO₂ pollution. To ensure that our customers can order their products in good conscience, Insight Cosmetics Group buys the offset (neutralization) of 430,000 kg of CO₂ from the gold-certified Atmosfair projects every year. This amount of CO₂ is calculated based on the weight and travel distance of each package, as well as the annual target set by the international community for each of our employees.

Conservation

In 2012, we decided to adopt the then newly discovered baby orangutan Ruthie, who is now grown and relocated. Since then, we have been funding the Save the Orangutan organization in Borneo with the goal of saving and protecting the highly endangered orangutan and its habitats.

Cancer Support

Breast cancer is something that every woman fears. As the majority of our customers are women, we unfortunately still experience this fate too often. For more than 10 years, we have therefore been funding the Cancer Society's research center.
