1. P.R.E.P and build the nail to the client’s wishes. Apply a thin layer of the ButterCream color gel as full cover on the nail. In this design the color “Leotards & Legwarmers” was chosen, but feel free to use any color that you prefer. Cure the color gel in the LEDdot lamp and seal the coat with a top coat like Super Shiny or Flat Matte. Remove the sticky layer. Kathrin rubbed some “Premium Pretties Opal” powder. This is done after removing the sticky layer to tone the effect a little down. The powder was sealed afterwards again with top coat and the surface was cleaned from the sticky layer.
2. Paint uneven black circles with the ButterCream color gel “Black Tie” on the nail. Before curing these use a fineliner brush to frazzle the pattern with fine strokes. Don’t cure yet!
3. Sprinkle some clear acrylic powder the on the design. You can use the Light Elegance Apex acrylic system. Now it’s time to cure the nail in the LED lamp.
4. Brush away the residue powder and you are ready to roar.
