Thread Technique
1. Apply Lecenté “Black Magic” to the whole nail. Do NOT cure.
2. Put some Lecenté "White Magic" on a plate. Submerse a thin sewing thread down in the color. Dip small drops of "twist & shout" on one half of the string and "Great Scott" on the other half. This ensures that the 2 flowers will consist of two different colors. Take the sewing thread at the end where there is no color and lift it straight up into the air.
3. Apply the saturated sewing thread to the uncured nail. The string is laid in a pattern like an S.
I have won gold in mixed media 3 years in a row at the Danish Nails Open.
In addition, I can add 3 silver and a bronze, and reach a gold in fantasy as well.
I love nail art and to inspire others to also discover the endless world of diverse nail art.
4. Slowly pull the thread in a movement parallel to the nail and downward. The thread should be pulled over the nail and not lifted from the nail.
5. Pull slowly. Now the first flower is shaped.
6. Continue to pull the thread.
7. See the beautiful flowers appear on the nail. Place the nail in the Lecenté lamp and cure for 30 sec.
8. Add a few details to the flower. Leaves if some color is lacking in some places with a very thin brush. Apply Lecenté top cost and cure in the Lecenté lamp for 30 sec.
