How can I become a certified Nimue salon?

Here you can read about the conditions for being approved to trade Nimue in a beauty clinic / salon.

Nimue is sold exclusively through professional beauty salons that offer facials in their treatment menu. You can only buy Nimue products in professional certified Nimue salons with skin-trained staff. To buy Nimue at wholesale prices, you need to be a trained skin care therapist i.e. beautician or cosmetologist, you must be an open, active, professional skin care salon, and you must purchase a starter kit with both Nimue sales and salon products. Your start-up package yourself has some influence on the composition of, but a relatively large range is required in order for you to represent the brand adequately. Our sales and customer service department can guide you through how to get started. Among other things, your clinic must not be too close to another certified Nimue clinic.

You must also anticipate a requirement to attend mandatory Nimue courses, these are free but a condition of being able to maintain your certification.

Can I just sell Nimue sales products and have no salon products in my clinic?

 You can only become a certified Nimue salon if you buy a wide selection of both retail and salon products. You should be able to offer at least 3-4 of the active AHA facials. You will also need retail products to recommend basic home care for all 4 skin classifications within Nimue before treatments can be given. It is by no means possible to have only sales products or only to have the salon products - the Nimue philosophy is based on the premise that 50% of the skin results come with home care, and 50% come from the professional salon treatments.

Can I get Nimue in my salon if I am not a trained beautician?

The person or persons performing Nimue facials at a certified clinic must have relevant skin training as either a beautician or cosmetologist. The other employees do not have to meet this requirement. Nimue is a quite complex cosmeceutical that requires solid knowledge of skin and skin conditions, in order to achieve results and avoid mistreatment.

What does it cost to become a Nimue clinic?

Once you have been approved to become a Nimue dealer by our sales team and brand mangement, you must have an assortment put together  that fits your salon. You have some influence on the content and size of the start-up package, but you must be able to offer at least 2 active acid treatments from the start and you must offer home care products for all 4 skin classifications Nimue works within.
