This massage technique stimulates lymphatic circulation, using the Essential Oil Elixir personalized to the treatment protocol being performed.

HAND POSITION:
Skin Therapist uses her fingertips to apply a light wave-like movement combined with a gentle pumping motion to the lymphatic nodes.

PRESSURE:
Skin Therapist applies feather-like pressure and pumping to create smooth flowing motions for drainage.

BODY POSITION:
Skin Therapist uses her body weight to apply the right amount of pressure to smooth and envelope the skin, keeping movements continuously flowing, working towards each lymph nodes. Knowledge of the location of the face and neck lymph nodes is necessary tocarry out the correct massage technique.

Place the appropriate Essential Oil Elixir into the palm of hands, warming your hands together. Place your hands above the client’s nose and ask the client to breathe in deeply. (X3) Then apply to the face, neck and décolleté.

A. STIMULATION OF THE MAJOR LYMPH NODES
Stimulation of the lymph nodes will enhance their flow and ability to receive and process lymph during drainage.
A.1. Sternum: pump with both hands flat on the sternum. (X3)
A.2. Axillary lymph node: pump with hands flat on each axillary. (X3)
A.3. Retroclavicular lymph node: with hands on the clavicles, pump with the index fingers. (X3)
A.4. Submaxillary lymph node: pump with the index fingers. (X3)
A.5. Parotid lymph node: pump with the index fingers. (X3)

B. NECK
B.1. Stimulate retroclavicular: with hands flat on the clavicle, pump the lymph node with the index fingers. (X3)
B.2. Neck drainage: place hands under the ears and drain downwards to the clavicle with the fingers. (X3)
B.3. Stimulate: pump with the index fingers on the retroclavicular nodes. (X3)

C. NAPE OF THE NECK
C.1. Stimulate tonsillar: place both hands under the ear lob and pump with the index fingers. (X3)
C.2. Drainage: from the occipital to under the ears, following along hairline, caterpillar all fingers. (X3)
C.3. Delivery: drain down neck from under the ears to retroclavicular nodes. (X1)
C.4. Stimulate: pump with the index fingers on the retroclavicular nodes. (X3)

D. JAWLINE
D.1. Stimulate submaxillary: place your index fingers on the submaxillary node and pump. (X3)
D.2. Jawline drainage: place both hands under the chin and drain out towards the ears (fingers pointing to toes). (X3)
D.3. Delivery: drain down neck from under the ears to retroclavicular nodes. (X1)
D.4. Stimulate: pump with the index fingers on the retroclavicular nodes. (X3)

E. CHIN
E.1. Stimulate submental: place your index fingers under the chin and pump. (X3)
E.2. Drainage: using the outer part of your thumbs, drain down the chin, motorbike action. (X3)
E.3. Delivery: drain along jawline, all fingers pointing to toes. (X1)
E.4. Delivery: drain down neck. (X1)
E.5. Stimulate: pump with the index fingers on the retroclavicular nodes. (X3)

F. UPPER LIP
F.1. Upper lip drainage: with the thumbs together, drain across the upper lip. (X3)
F.2. Delivery: follow under the lower lip, down the chin, torwards the base of the chin. (X1)

G. NASO LINE
G.1. Stimulate submaxillary: pump the submaxillary nodes using index fingers. (X3)
G.2. Drainage of the naso line folds: with the thumbs starting at the bridge of the nose, drain down to the jawline, caterpillar movementaaaausing thumbs. (X3)
G.3. Delivery: drain along jawline, all fingers pointing to toes. (X1)
G.4. Delivery: drain down neck from under the ears to retroclavicular nodes. (X1)
G.5. Stimulate: pump with the index fingers on the retroclavicular nodes. (X3)

H. CHEEKS
H.1. Cheek drainage: using all fingers, drain the cheek area to under the ears. (X3)
H.2. Delivery: drain down neck from under the ears to retroclavicular nodes. (X1)

I. UNDER EYE
I.1. Stimulate parotid: using your index fingers, pump the parotid nodes. (X3)
I.2. Drainage of the lower eye line: using your thumbs, drain the lower eye line from the inside to the outside of the eye to the parotidarea, caterpillar using thumbs. (X3)
I.3. Delivery: drain from parotid (front of ear) to under ears and down neck. (X1)
I.4. Stimulate: pump with the index fingers on the retroclavicular nodes. (X3)

J. EYEBROWS
J.1. Drainage: using all horizontal fingers, drain over the eyebrows from the inside to the outside to the parotid area. (X3)
J.2. Delivery: drain from parotid (front of ear) to under ears and down the neck. (X1)
J.3. Stimulate: pump with the index fingers on the retroclavicular nodes. (X3)

K. FOREHEAD
K.1. Mid-forehead drainage: T-shape drain using index and middle fingers, caterpillar drain in the middle of the forehead to the hairline. (X1)
K.2. Caterpillar around hairline using middle fingers and thumbs to the parotid. (X1)
K.3. Forehead drainage: using all fingers, drain from the centre of the forehead to the parotid, slide and bounce, fingers point to toes. (X3)
K.4. Delivery: drain from parotid (front of ear) to under ears and down the neck. (X1)
K.5. Stimulate: pump with the index fingers on the retroclavicular nodes. (X3)

L. FINISH
L.1. Stimulate: pump with the index fingers to axillary. (X3)
L.2. Head Hug: place one hand flat on the chin and the other hand on client’s hairband, light pumps. (X3)L.3. Relaxation: hover from forehead to solar plexus, fingers point to toes. (X1)
