How to remove P+ Soak Off Gel Polish?

To achieve the best results with P+, you need to remove the product correctly. If the product is not applied correctly, it will also be more difficult to remove. So, what you need to know about removing P+? 

How to remove P+ Soak Off Gel Polish?

Just as important as the correct application and curing, is the correct removal. Removing P+ is easy. The correct removal of P+ Gel Polish leaves the natural nails in good condition with no nail damage. From natural nails P+ Soak off Gel Polish can be gently removed in just a few minutes!

When you are removing P+ Soak Off Gel Polish from natural nails, please follow these steps:

  1. File the Top Coat off. Make sure the color is matte all over and no Top Coat is visible on the nails. Be careful not to file on the natural nails!

  2. Soak a cotton pad with LE Pro Remover and place the pad on a nail. Wrap nail and the pad in aluminum foil and repeat on all 10 nails. Set the timer to 7 minutes.

  3. After the time is passed, rub the nail through the foil and slide the foil off. The gel polish should come off easily with a cotton pad moistened with LEPro Remover. No filing or scraping!

  4. If there is stubborn product residue on the nail, wrap the in remover and foil again and wait a few more minutes. Rub the nail with the cotton pad to remove the last pieces. A nail brush or a wooden stick are great assistants as well. You should never use a metal tool to remove product residue. This can harm the nail plate easily after soaking off the gel polish.

If you have applied P+ Soak Off Gel Polish over enhancements, simply file the color off as part of the refill process. You can use both an electric file or a traditional nail file, whatever feels most comfortable to you!

What else should you know about P+ removal and LE Pro Remover?

  • The LE Pro Remover contains acetone and no oils or fragrances. You can also use it to remove nail polish and acrylics.
  • If you remove P+ Soak Off Gel Polish with aluminum foil, please make sure that you close the foil tightly and that there is no air is trapped in the foil. If possible, the cotton pad should only be on the nail and not touch the skin at all.

    Pro tip! Switch cotton pads and foil to professional removal wraps for quicker and easier removals! 
  • We recommend that you do not use an acetone bath for removing nail coatings. This is not good for the skin or the nails and you will waste product as the bath will need to be completely replaced after each client.
  • Acetone is a harsh chemical, but completely safe to use as long as you do not ingest or inhale it. Advise your customer to care for their cuticles with Light Elegance Cuticle Oil daily. This prevents the drying effect of acetone and makes nails and the surrounding skin more tolerant towards external factors like cold air and disinfectants.
