      How long does a treatment with IBX Repair & Strengthen take and how often does it need to be applied?

      With IBX REPAIR and STRENGTHEN you have the possibility to repair damaged nails in your salon. Your customer comes to you at regular intervals and can also make use of all other services.

      How long takes the treatment with IBX REPAIR & STRENGTHEN?

      IBX

      • If you work with both IBX REPAIR and STRENGTHEN, you will normally need approx. 15 minutes for the treatment.
      • You only need to allow 5 minutes more for the first treatment because IBX STRENGTHEN needs to be applied in two layers. 

      IBX STRENGTHEN can also be used alone. Then the treatment takes about 3 minutes less.

      How often do you need to use IBX REPAIR and STRENGTHEN to get the best results and over what period of time can you use it?

      • The frequency of application depends on the condition of the nails.
      • If the nails are severely damaged, weekly treatment is recommended.
      • The healthier the nails are, the longer the intervals between applications can be.
      • If IBX REPAIR and STRENGTHEN are applied under an enhancment or other coating, e.g. Shellac, the interval between applications depends on the respective service.
      • IBX REPAIR and STRENGTHEN strengthens thin nails and fills deep grooves over time. However, it´s not the same as an enhancement.
      • You can use IBX REPAIR and STRENGTHEN for as long as you like.
      • Before applying IBX REPAIR and STRENGTHEN, the nails are not roughened. You can read about how to prepare the nails properly HERE.

      If there is too much time between two applications, you may have to treat the nails as for the initial treatment.

      How is this possible to repair the nail with IBX REPAIR?

      • IBX REPAIR contains care substances that are infiltrated into the nail with the help of heat.
      • IBX REPAIR also acts like a double-sided adhesive tape. It connects the keratin layers so that they adhere to each other again.
      • By hardening in the UV or LED lamp, it bonds with the nail.
