 6. Is there a warranty for the CND™ Visible Light Lamp?

Yes. The CND™ Visible Light Lamp has a 1-year warranty. 

 7. Does the CND™ Visible Light Lamp count down the time?

Yes. The CND™ Visible Light Lamp counts down the time for each service setting and automatically shuts off.

9. Is the CND™ Visible Light Lamp acetone-resistant?

Yes. The CND™ Visible Light Lamp is acetone- and alcohol-resistant. When cleaning, take care not to touch the lens in the chamber.

10. Does the CND™ Visible Light Lamp have a fan?

No. Due to the position of the electronics, the CND™ Visible Light Lamp does not need a fan to prevent overheating.

11. Can I still flash-cure products for 10 seconds in the CND™ Visible Light Lamp?

Yes. Place the hand inside the lamp for the first 10 seconds of curing on preset button 1.

12. Is VISIBLE LIGHT TECHNOLOGY™ more energy-efficient?

Yes. Visible light units are more energy-efficient than the fluorescent bulbs found in traditional UV lamps.

13. How do I know whether my client’s hand is positioned correctly for proper curing in the CND™ Visible Light Lamp?

Ensure the client’s thumb rests in the thumb indentation while the remaining fingers are positioned fully inside the lamp.

 14. How do I perform a CND™ SHELLAC™ pedicure with the CND™ Visible Light Lamp?

To cure toes properly in the CND™ Visible Light Lamp, the foot must be positioned correctly. The lamp features a removable plate held in place by magnets. Hold the lamp and pull gently to detach the plate. Place the lamp over the client’s foot, as close to the reflective wall as possible. Clean the lamp between every service.

15. Can I place products on my workstation near the CND™ Visible Light Lamp?

CND™ recommends that you avoid placing products within a 2-inch radius of the lamp’s open areas. When light-curable products are not in use, ensure they are properly closed to prevent curing.

16. What products can be used with the CND™ Visible Light Lamp?

The CND™ Visible Light Lamp is designed to cure all CND™ light-curable systems completely.

17. If I select the incorrect preset button, how do I switch settings?

Turn the lamp off, wait 3 seconds, turn it back on and select the correct setting.

18. Do all preset buttons pulse?

No. Preset buttons 2B, 2S and IR maintain a steady stream of light.

19. Why does the CND™ Visible Light Lamp feel warmer during the curing process?

The CND™ Visible Light Lamp was designed without a fan, which can contribute to a warmer internal lamp temperature. If the heat becomes uncomfortable for the client, have them remove their hand from the lamp for a few seconds.

20. How do I perform a Custom Cure using the CND™ Visible Light Lamp?

Use the flash-cure zone: the space between the thumb dimples on the lamp’s base plate, where output is reduced by 50%. Flash-cure in this zone on preset button 1 for 2-3 pulses. Flash-cure as needed to manage curing and client comfort. Follow with a full cure.

 21. How do I clean the CND™ Visible Light Lamp?

Keep the lamp dust-free by unplugging it and wiping it daily with a pre-moistened towel. See the Operating Instructions for complete care and use information.

22. How do I use the CND™ Visible Light Lamp when sculpting on a form?

If the form fit requires additional space inside the CND™ Visible Light Lamp, trim off two-thirds of the form’s bottom tabs before placing the hand inside the lamp.

23. What is each button used for on the CND™ Visible Light Lamp?

The CND™ Visible Light Lamp has four preset buttons calibrated to cure CND™ light-curable systems and one preset button featuring red light technology. Select the appropriate button for the service being performed.

Yes. For easy portability, the lamp features a built-in handle located inside the top of the lamp.

25. Does preset button IR operate simultaneously with other preset buttons?

No. Preset button IR works separately and does not work in conjunction with the other preset buttons.

26. Can I use preset button IR to cure products in the CND™ Visible Light Lamp?

No. Preset button IR uses red light technology and is not intended to cure CND™ light-curable systems. It is designed to provide an add-on, spa-like experience during the service.

27. What information is shown on the LCD digital display?

The digital display indicates the lamp’s battery level, the preset button currently in use, the time remaining for the selected button and the lamp’s charging status.

28. Is the LCD digital display always on, or only during curing?

The display is visible whenever the CND™ Visible Light Lamp is turned on.

29. Why is preset button 1 a 60-second cure on the CND™ Visible Light Lamp?

Preset button 1 was adjusted specifically to align with the lamp’s VISIBLE LIGHT TECHNOLOGY™, ensuring that it delivers a complete cure equivalent to preset button 1 on the CND™ LED Lamp.

30. How long does it take to charge the CND™ Visible Light Lamp?

The lamp requires approximately 2 hours to charge fully.

31. How long will the battery last before it needs to be charged again?

The battery supports approximately 90 curing cycles at 60 seconds per cycle.

32. Can I still use the CND™ Visible Light Lamp while it is charging?

Yes. The CND™ Visible Light Lamp can be used while charging.

33. Where can I view the lamp’s battery level?

The battery level appears in the upper-right corner of the LCD digital display. For optimal performance, recharge the lamp once the display shows a single remaining battery bar.

No. The lamp delivers consistent output regardless of the current battery level.
