Wellcome Prelude

Connect & Relaxing Prelude

1. CONNECT (1 min)
Start each treatment with contact on client’s shoulders and explain to the client the process of the relaxing prelude. According to the treatment protocol, pour 1 drop of Essential Oil Elixir into the palm of your hands and warm palms together (optionnal for the 60 mn protocol). Cup both hands and cover client’s nose. Ask your client to close their eyes and take 3 deep breaths.

2. RELAXING PRELUDE (4 min)
The relaxing prelude plunges the client into a gentle relaxation. The warmth of hot towels and progressive full-hand pressures release tension from neck, trapezius and feet. The skin and senses are awakened, the client is more receptive to the treatment benefits and the Skin Therapist’s touch.

Benefits
• Prepares the client for the best possible experience from the treatment
• Releases tension from feet and trapezius
• Provides comfort and well-being

HAND POSITION:

TYPES OF PRESSURE:
Feet: the Skin Therapist applies firm progressive movements. The pressure should be both relaxing and dynamic.
Shoulders: the Skin therapist uses the palm of her hands to apply the correct pressure on the shoulders and neckline.

BODY POSITION:
The position of the Skin Therapist with respect to the client determines the amount of pressure she can exert on specific parts of the
