How to create Lip Gloss nails with PLEXIGEL™ Shaper and SHELLAC™

To take the design to the next level, you can also apply chrome on top of the Lipgloss design. To achieve the chrome look you will need the NoWipe+ Top Coat.

1. 
   
   Have the customer wash their hands with soap and running water for 20-30 seconds. Massage the customer's hands with COOLBLUE™. Continue to perform a P.R.E.P.
2. 
    
   Roll the bottle gently before use. Apply a thin layer of CND™ PLEXIGEL™ Bonder to all five nails. Remember to be careful with sealing of the free edge. Cure for 10 seconds in the CND™ LED lamp on button 1. It is important the sticky top film is not removed.
3. 
    
   Take out some PLEXIGEL™ Shaper on a glass plate. Put a small drop of SHELLAC® Mauve Maverick on the plate and use your Dotting Tool to drag a very small amount of color into the PLEXIGEL™ Shaper. Mix it together slowly to avoid the development of air bubbles. You'll probably have to go back and forth a few times to achieve the tint you want. Now apply the mixture in a thin, even layer on the natural nail and seal the free edge. Always leave a small free margin around the nail to avoid skin contact. Cure for 1 min. in the CND™ LED lamp on button 2B.
   Tip: Prepare the mix in a light-proof container, so it can be stored for the next customer or for a repair, should it be necessary.
   
   
4. 
    
   Build up the nail with the SHAPER/SHELLAC mix on all five nails. Cure for 1 min. in the CND™ LED lamp at button 2B.
   To shape the nail and build the up strength and structure the nail should be build with an Apex. Using the very tip of the brush and a light touch will allow the product to "flow" so you can guide it into place. You can utilize a flash cure on two fingers at a time to prevent the gel from running into the sides. Always remember to seal the free edge.
   
   
5. 
    
   Roll the bottle carefully before using it. Apply one layer of CND PLEXIGEL™ Protector Top Coat to all five nails. Be sure to seal the free edge. Cure for 1 min. in the CND™ LED lamp on button 3.
   
   
6. 
    
   Remove the top film with a wipe moistened with TopFinish™. To achieve the highest gloss, wait to remove the top film until your hand has been out of the lamp for 60 seconds.
7.  
   Finish first with Cuticle Eraser™ and then Solaroil™. It is important to do this in this order as Cuticle Eraser™ cannot penetrate the oil.
