What can you do with sheer colors?

1. Use it alone to create sheer jelly nails by applying two layers on the natural nail just like any other SHELLAC™ treatment.

Special attributes of SHELLAC™ Jelly Colors:

  • Viscosity: More fluid than conventional SHELLAC™, requires thin application.
  • First layer: May look streaky at first, the second layer compensates for this despite the transparency.

Application tips for SHELLAC Jelly Colors:

  • Use thin layers: Apply extremely thin coats to avoid product edges or bleeding into the edges.
  • Use gravity: Rotate your hand or nail to guide the product away from the edges, especially for the second coat.
  • Color Intensity: Jelly Color becomes more intense in color with each extra layer you apply, but it always retains a tranzparents in itself.

Storage:

  • Keep the SHELLAC™ in a drawer and not in direct sunlight (shop window) to prevent product from hardening on the neck of the bottle. (This can happen more quickly with thin-viscosity lacquers in particular) Clean the neck of the bottle as required to prevent this from happening.
  • Keep cool: Refrigerator storage is not necessary, but you should not store the Shellac in places that are too warm (increased room temperature due to heating or sun), as it will otherwise become even thinner. A drawer near the floor is a perfect storage place.

Adhesion: The more transparent a gel polish is, the stronger the bond with the natural nail, if you follow the steps above and the product does not run into the side edges, your customer will have a lot of fun with her jelly look.
