When can a Nimue SRC treatment be performed?

Here, we explain when you as a therapist can perform Nimue SRC treatments and when the customers' skin is probably ready for it.

Are you experienced in performing Nimue's Active Rejuvenation and Advanced Rejuvenation Treatments, and have you been on Nimue Denmark's 2-day Basic Course or Basic Refresh course within the last year, then you should upgrade your knowledge and your treatments with Nimue SRC - Skin Resurfacing Complex treatments.

You need specific products that are not normally part of a standard Nimue salon starter kit in your cabin to perform SRC treatments. The client must always have received at least 2 treatments with 15% Bio-Active Complex with good results and without any kind of irritation or congestion of the skin before performing SRC Problematic or Hyperpigmented. For environmentally charged skin classification, 1 - 2 Glycolic 35% treatments are also recommended before upgrading to an SRC treatment.

For SRC treatments, the Nimue Tetra Enzymatic system must be used where Exfoliating Enzyme peeling is normally used and the SRC must be neutralized with Nimue Neutraliser Plus and not the regular Nimue Neutraliser. This is important to ensure progressive results that can really be seen and for the skin to be treated in the safest way. 

After completing the treatment with a series of SRC treatments, maintenance can be maintained with SRC treatment every 5-6 weeks. If there is still a need to strengthen the results on eg scars, large pores and deep wrinkles, treatments every 4-6 weeks with Nimue Smart Resurfacer Peel are recommended. You must not perform SRC treatments until you have participated in the SRC course, either physically or online.
