      Why is it important to use SolarOil™ with a Shellac™?

      Take care of your manicure, because only a well-cared manicure is a long-lasting one. Read here why SolarOil™ is the perfect partner for a long-lasting Shellac™ manicure.

      SolarOil™ is built to work with Shellac™ to keep the nails healthy, strong and flexible. There are three main reasons why you should use SolarOil™ with each Shellac™ manicure.

      1. SolarOil™  keeps the nails healthy
      A unique feature of CND Shellac™ are tiny micro-tunnels (not visible to the eye), which allow the tiny oil particles to move through the product layers and reach the natural nail plate underneath. Thus the nail is maintained during wearing a Shellac™ application.

      2. The manicure lasts longer
      When the above mentioned micro-tunnels are filled with SolarOil™,  no other substances can penetrate. The Shellac™ coating is plasticized and keeps the high shine.

      3. The color paint does not chip
      A long-lasting result is best achieved by home care. This is easy with daily application of SolarOil™,  because the high-quality ingredients are precisely matched to Shellac™. 

      Pro Tip: If your customers regularly care for their nails with SolarOil™, you too will have an easier time with the next service, because a well-maintained Shellac™ manicure is easier to remove and the following treatment is much easier on healthy, non-chipping nails.

      Sales arguments that you can share with your customers:

      • Explain to your customers already during the service, how SolarOil™ works and that the treatment result can last longer if they use SolarOil™  daily.
      • Use SolarOil™ as a finishing touch after every manicure, not only after the Shellac™ treatment.
      • SolarOil™ ensures that not only the nails remain in good condition, but also the cuticles. After only a short time your customers will notice that the cuticles are no longer dry and prone to cracking. This is a great advatange, especially in winter.

      Is it possible to use any other oil than SolarOil™?

      • SolarOil™ has a very small molecular structure due to its ingredients.
      • This structure allows the oil to penetrate into the Shellac™ micro-tunnel system.
      • We do not know the structure of other oils, so we cannot guarantee that they can penetrate the tunnel system.

      Keep in mind that many oils contain paraffin. Paraffin from petroleum always only covers the area that has been treated, and does not penetrate the skin or nails.
