Why should I use gauze when performing Nimue treatments?

Nimue recommends that you use gloves during all professional Nimue treatments, including therapeutic / classic facials and Deep Cleanse. Nimue treatments must always provide every client with a feeling of a controlled clinical and hygienic environment when coming to a treatment. 

The gloves help to emphasize this clinical profile, as well as to protect the therapist's hands during the treatments. Contact with peeling ingredients such as AHA, BHA, enzyme, etc. many times each day could be too much for the therapist's skin on the hands. It is fine to take the gloves off at the end of a treatment and perform the last After Care on the skin, as well as it is also fine to perform facial massage in a therapeutic treatment without gloves, to give a more well-being feeling during treatment.

Why does Nimue recommend using gauze with several of the products in the treatments and for home use?

 Nimue recommends removing Cleansing Gel and enzyme and acid peels with damp gauze and applying Conditioner spray on gauze that is applied to the skin for an extra exfoliating and circulation-enhancing effect. Since no physical / mechanical peeling or scrub with Nimue is ever used, it is beneficial for the skin to get just a little gentle surface exfoliation with the structure of the gauze. Gaze is not recommended for interactive / sensitive skin or highly inflamed problematic skin prone to inflammation. Here, cotton pads are recommended instead. All this applies both to home care and in all salon treatments.

In the professional Nimue treatment, it is emphasized more clearly with gauze and Nimue disposable compress (small soft disposable washcloths in tablet form) that it is clinical and hygienic treatments we perform. It is never necessary to use sponges or cloths to be washed and used on more than one customer, all washing articles are for single use only, this is in every way an expression of control of hygiene and customer safety.
