How to use Nimue Phase 2: Active Lotion, Active Gel & Resurfacing Wipes.

Why it is important to use phase 2 and when to start?

Nimue phase 2 products are very important when you want to accustom the skin to stronger fruit acids / AHAs. Before performing or receiving professional acid peels, the skin must be prepared. We need to make sure the skin is healthy, the barrier is functioning properly; that the skin is ready for this next regenerative step.

Phase 2 products contain the highest percentage of AHA allowed for home care: 10% and the lowest legal pH of 3.5. These are active night products and the optimal way to renew and prepare skin for active treatments. Phase 2 is applied after 4-6 successful weeks on Nimue Phase 1 products, if in doubt this period can be extended. If the skin shows good progress in the normal 4-6 weeks on Phase 1, then it is time to add Phase 2! Phase 2 should be used permanently in the future to maintain the results of the professional treatments and/or for best rejuvenating results with home care.

As they say: If you are not on Phase 2 - then you are not on Nimue!

IMPORTANT: Phase 2 products are only used for the following 3 skin classifications: Environmental, Problematic and Hyperpigmented - NOT for Interactive/Sensitive skin. Phase 2 products should not be used on delicate, thin and reactive skin. Do not use concurrently with prescription acne medication. Do not use on open skin such as wounds and tears!

Nimue Phase 2 night serum available as follows:

Resurfacing Wipes for the gentle start and easy to take on the go
Active Lotion is suitable for normal to dry and mature skin
Active Gel is for oily and impure skin.

APPLICATION: Phase 2 is applied after 4-6 successful weeks on Nimue Phase 1 products, in case of doubt this period can be extended. If the skin shows good progress in the normal 4-6 weeks on Phase 1, then it is time to add Phase 2!

Every 2nd evening on freshly cleansed skin after Nimue Cleansing Gel and Nimue Conditioner and before night cream. Avoid eye and lip area. Slight tingling sensation is normal. Do not use with Nimue Boosters, alternate between booster and phase 2 every other night.

Phase 2 products can be used over Pre & Post serum and/or Nimue TDS™. Note: Active Resurfacing Wipes are used BEFORE Pre & Post Serum and/or Nimue TDS™
