What is the difference between Nimue Pre & Post and TDS™ serum?

Nimue TDS™ - the 4 transdermal solutions for the 4 Nimue skin classifications, are the perfect 50/50 serum solutions, which partly provide a barrier repair and partly an active effect on the specific skin classification. Nimue TDS™ is designed to be used in synergy with Pre & Post serum, which has 100% barrier repair function. For a skin that is new to Nimue home care and active treatments, this combination is the best possible barrier support, to ensure a healthy skin that does not get irritated. A healthy skin can more easily hijack very active ingredients without getting irritated.

If the skin is very sensitive or not so used to active skin care, we recommend that you only start with the Pre & Post serum as a daily serum under day and night cream until the skin is improved. Once the skin is improved, Nimue TDS™ kan can be used on top of Pre & Post for a while and later replace it completely.

Nimue TDS™ contains active molecules, designed to improve the health of the skin and address specific skin problems. Each Nimue-TDS™ has a strong documented effect that is clinically approved. As the skin improves even more in health, an even more active Nimue Booster can replace the TDS™ and fade it out as with Pre & Post before. Nimue TDS™ is very suitable for the transition period with Nimue when you are new to the products.

The Transitional period

Application: 

After proper cleansing of the skin with a Nimue cleanser and conditioner, a thin layer of Pre & Post serum and / or TDS™ is applied to the face, neck and décolleté, both of which can be used close to the eyes. Then apply day or night cream, eye care and possibly environmental protection. 

Pre & Post Serum can be used by all skin types and skin conditions, even very sensitive and degraded skin. Pre & Post equips a more robust skin for strong acid treatments with Nimue's professional peels, the skin will be able to hijack more and recover faster with daily use of Pre & Post serum in the weeks up to and after a salon treatment. 

TDS™ is available for the 4 skin classifications:

• Hyperpigmented / Blue - uneven skin tone
• Interactive / Pink - delicate and mature skin
• Environmentally Damaged / Yellow - rough, inelastic, early aged, pollution-prone skin
• Problematic / Green - impure, acne, dry acne, clogged skin 

Remember when the skin is well accustomed to using Nimue at home and during treatments and it seems healthy and strong, then it is time to wave goodbye to its TDS™ and offer the skin a more active and deep-acting Booster.

The DIFFERENCE between Pre & Post serum and Nimue TDS™ is thus

It is the first repair, a barrier-building serum, to which customers who are completely new to Nimue must be introduced. This superficial serum strengthens the skin barrier and protects the epidermis biolipids and optimizes an even distribution of moisture to the skin. Pre & Post makes the skin healthy and strong, it prepares the skin for more active home care products and acid-based treatments. Pre & post only works on Stratum Corneum, it moisturizes the skin and prevents TEWL. The 4 different transdermal solutions, aka TDS™, work on 2 levels, partly in the same way as Pre & Post serum, but also more in depth on the current skin condition. TDS has a 50/50 effect, so they work on both the barrier as well as the specific skin classification. TDS ™ can be introduced to a skin that is adjusted to Nimue, the transition period is over, the skin shows improvement, and we can offer it a little more active care than just Pre & Post serum. First, the TDS™ skal should be applied on top of the Pre & Post serum for some time, then the Pre & Post serum fades out and only use the TDS™ alone for a while until the skin is much more strong and healthy and ready for a real Nimue Booster with greater concentration of active substances working in the deeper layers of the skin.
