What is IBX REPAIR and STRENGTHEN and for which clients is it suitable?

A polish only lasts really well if the natural nail underneath is healthy. With IBX REPAIR and STRENGTHEN you can repair and care for damaged nails. This allows reinforcements or light-curing nail polishes (gel polish) to last better.

IBX REPAIR and STRENGTHEN consists of two different components.

1. IBX Repair - For heavily damaged areas

IBX REPAIR immediately repairs visible damage to the natural nail and peeling nails. It is applied like normal nail polish. IBX REPAIR penetrates the damaged nail layers where it acts like double-sided adhesive tape, holding the nail together and sealing it. When used under gel polish, IBX REPAIR is applied to the entire nail to prevent damage such as white spots.

IBX REPAIR should never be used alone, but always together with IBX STRENGTHEN.

2. IBX Strenghten - For real strength

IBX STRENGTHEN is the central component of the IBX SYSTEM. It penetrates the nail and hardens in the upper keratin layer. This makes the nail particularly strong and keeps it healthy under nail polish, gel polish and gel or acrylic modelling. Thanks to IBX STRENGTHEN, natural nails can also grow longer.

IBX STRENGTHEN is applied like normal nail polish.

Both products are neither visible nor tangible on the nail surface. They do not need to be removed, but simply grow out with the nail. The treatment can be repeated as needed, but usually with the next application of SHELLAC™ or Gel Polish. If the client only wants natural nails without nail product or has very damaged nails, repeated treatment up to 1 time per week is recommended.

• IBX REPAIR acts like a nail glue and repairs the nails.
• IBX STRENGTHEN conditions the nails and bonds with the nails to protect them.
• Although IBX REPAIR and STRENGTHEN work as a strengthening layer, it does not strengthen the nails like a modellage.
• If you apply IBX REPAIR and STRENGTHEN regularly, the nail surface becomes smoother and grooves are evened out. 
• IBX REPAIR and STRENGTHEN does not come off. It simply grows out.
• IBX REPAIR and STRENGTHEN can be worn under any type of coating (gel polish, modelling, etc.).

IBX BOOST

You can also strengthen a nail with a modeling overlay. With IBX Boost you can protect the nails from damage and give them more stability. This way, light-curing nail polishes also last much better.

The IBX Boost system consists of 3 different components.

1. IBX Boost Base Coat

IBX Boost Base Coat is specially formulated for the IBX system and ensures perfect adhesion between the natural nail and IBX Boost Gel. If you have previously used IBX Repair & Strengthen, you can do without the base coat.

2. IBX Boost Gel

The flexible and strong nail coating IBX BOOST is the perfect complement to the IBX SYSTEM. IBX BOOST smoothes and protects the nail and serves as a buffer layer under other products. IBX BOOST can be used alone or under Gel Polish if the nails need extra strength for such a manicure. The natural nail should not be roughened before treatment with IBX BOOST. It is easily removed with the next service.

3. IBX Boost Top Coat

IBX Boost Top Coat is used to seal IBX Boost Gel. It is extremely high-gloss and offers the perfect protection. If you apply a colour coat over IBX Boost, you can dispense with the IBX Boost Top Coat and use the Top Coat of the other system instead.

• IBX BOOST is a three-part system. 
• The IBX BOOST BASE COAT acts as an adhesion promoter.
• The IBX BOOST gel strengthens the nails. It is applied in two thin layers with a gel brush and hardened.
• You can file the natural nail coat to achieve a more beautiful shape.
• The use of IBX BOOST TOP SHINE is optional.
• IBX BOOST can be removed after IBX BOOST TOP SHINE has been roughened. 
• IBX BOOST can be worn under any form of coating.

IBX is the system for service in the salon and should not be sold to the end consumer. How often should one use IBX and what is the appropriate price?

IBX Repair und Strenghten

• IBX REPAIR and STRENGTHEN should be applied until the nails have the desired strength.
• If the nails are very damaged, a weekly treatment with IBX REPAIR and STRENGTHEN is recommended. 
• Afterwards, the intervals between the treatments can be extended.
• One bottle of IBX REPAIR can be used for about 100 treatments. One bottle of IBX REPAIR is enough for 60 - 70 services.
• Once opened, the products have a shelf life of 36 months.
• The price always depends on the location of your studio. However, the price for a treatment with IBX REPAIR and STRENGTHEN should not be less than 10,00 €.

IBX Boost

• If IBX BOOST is worn as a natural nail reinforcement, the interval between treatments depends on the growth of the nails. As a rule, it is 3 weeks.
• IBX BOOST can be filled up. It does not have to be removed each time.
• If IBX BOOST is worn under a modellage or gel polish, the interval between treatments depends on the type of coating.
• One jar of IBX BOOST is sufficient for 35 -50 treatments.
• All products of the IBX BOOST system have a shelf life of 36 months after opening. 
• Prices always depend on the location of your studio. However, the price for a treatment with IBX BOOST should not be less than 20.00 €.
