How to book or cancel classes and webinars?

Insight Cosmetics offers a lot of classes and free webinars across all beauty areas. Read here how you can book a class, change your booking and everything else you need to know around the course booking system.

Finding the right class, booking it or even changing a booking has never been easier. Withhin the Insight Cosmetics Academy Portal you are able to check your bookings, to manage bookings for yourself and your employees and to change or cancel bookings. Whether basic-class, competence-training or master-class - Choose your class and start today.

1. Find the class that suits you best

a. Visit the Insight Cosmetics Academy.

b. Choose between Nail, Skincare and Waxing.

c. Choose your Niveau.

d. Select a class.
Click on "Info" and learn more about the class or click on "Book" to see all dates.

Did you know that you can also set a filter? Just click on location to see which classes are available near to your location or click on trainer if you want to participate in class with a specific trainer.

It´s also possible to explore all classes at once. Simply click on "All classes". In there you can still filter for Nails, Skincare or Waxing.

2. Book your class

a. Click on "Book" and choose the number of attendees. 
The price incl. VAT will show up after you have typed in the number of attendees.

b. Type in your data, choose a password and payment method.
The password will serve as your password for your personal training area. In here you can see and manage all your bookings.

Why do I need to type in my data, even if I am already a registered customer?
The booking system is not the same as the webshop, so it´s for technical reasons. You´ll see there are a lot of nice features in your booking area and you only have to do it once.

Can I book classes for my whole team at once?

Sure! It´s so easy. Just choose the amount of persons you want to register and type in their information in the next step.

Can I book several classes at the same time?

It is not possible to book several classes at the same time. But if you are registered once you don´t have to type in your data again. Therefore it is super easy to book the next class with only a few clicks.

Do I get a notification once my booking is completed?

You´ll get a confirmation email right away. Remember to check your spam/junk-mail folder if the email doesn´t show up after a few minutes.

The confirmation email contains all the important information like date, time, location and trainer. If it´s an online class it will also contain the Microsoft Teams Link.

Do I get a notification if something changes?

Yes. If something changes (like date, location etc.) you´ll get a information by email or SMS.

Which payment methods are available when booking a class?

You can pay via PayPal and credit card (Visa/Master). If you wish to pay by SEPA direct debit, choose PayPal and during the checkout select SEPA direct debit. You do not need a PayPal account for that. For some classes you can also pay by open invoice. 

The payment could not be processed. What could be the issue?

There is a problem with your account. You can call your bank. Ask them to explain why they refuse to authorize the purchase. If there is a restriction on shopping outside your country tell them to remove this and immediately. Often we see the same account number worked for a previous purchase and a renewed card does not. This is a matter for the bank to fix.

Is the price incl. VAT?

Yes. The price is always incl. VAT.

Why can’t I book with open invoice?

There is only a limited number of seats available for each class. We´re asking immediate payment to guarantee a seat.

3. What to do if I need to change/cancle my booking?

I´m not able to attend a class. How can I cancel my subscription?

We are sorry to hear that you are not able to attend the class. You don´t have to tell us why, but we will tell you how to cancel your subscription.

a. Log in to the academy portal.

b. Choose "My bookings".

c. Click on the booking you want to cancel.

d. Click on delete my booking.

You will always get an email notification after you have change or cancled a class or webinar.

You have booked a class for some of your employees and want to cancle only one booking? No worries, this is of course possible. Go to the academy portal, choose "My bookings" and click on the class. Choose "Change", select the date and click on "Book". Just choose the right amount of persons and click on "Book". Check the data and confirm your booking.

Are there any cancellation fees?

  • A cancellation fee of 100% applies for cancellations made less than 7 days in advance or in case of a no-show.
  • A 75% cancellation fee applies to cancellations made less than 20 days in advance.
  • A 25% cancellation fee applies to cancellations made 20 or more days in advance.

How do I get a refund if I have canceled a class?

You can cancel classes in your account. Cancellation policies may apply. You will receive the refund on the same account that you used for the payment.

4. What happens if my class has been canceled?

We are sorry, if your class has to be canceled. We strongly try to avoid this, but it happens that we have to cancel a class from our side. If that´s the case you´ll receive a notification via email and you´ll get a refund for your booking.
